Montefiore Health System has signed a long-term expansion for 96,500 SF inside Tower One and the Metro Center Atrium at Simone Development Companies’ Hutchinson Metro Center in the Bronx. Now, Montefiore leases 453,000 SF at 1250 Waters Place, which will be used to consolidate clinical and administrative offices and expand clinical departments including women’s health, breast oncology, urology and orthopedics.

In one of Stamford’s largest real estate sales this year, Simone Development Companies acquired a 118,500 SF office-industrial complex at 316 Courtland Avenue in the Glenbrook section from Baker Cos. A fitness center and student transportation company take 40,000 SF, leaving 78,000 SF available for lease.

Northwell Health Physicians Partners will move into a recently completed healthcare facility in Lynbrook. After a two-year, $19M transformation of the former Long Island American water Corp., NHPP will move into a state-of-the-art medical office, which can hold 70 employees and 15 physicians practicing cardiology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, and pulmonology. Northwell signed a 30-year lease with Simone Healthcare Development to invest in the building’s renovation.
