Madison Realty Capital provided a $137 million construction loan to JDS Development Group for Monad Terrace, a new Miami Beach condo designed by renowned architect Jean Nouvel. Bloomberg reported on the story, which revealed that the loan from Madison is the area’s largest residential construction loan in the past year.

The owner of 5 Columbus Circle, a 21-story, 219,000 SF building is bringing the property back to its glory days, switching out the aluminum façade for cast stone. Five Columbus Circle was built in 1911 as the headquarters for the U.S. Rubber Company and was given landmark status in 2000. While the owners reclaim the historic feel of the exterior, the interior is receiving mechanical upgrades and new double-hung window frames.
