Simone Development Companies will bring biotech and life sciences organizations to its Hutchinson Metro Center in the Bronx, NY. Construction beginning fall 2017 on Simone’s South Campus will double the size of the campus from 1.4 million s/f to up to 3 million s/f. The South Campus is less than a mile away from the South Campus biotech hub at Montefiore’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Jeffrey Dunne, David Gavin and Travis Langer of CBRE’s Institutional Properties with Philip Heilpern of CBRE Long Island represented seller Reckson New York Property Trust in the $21 million sale of 150 Motor Parkway. The team also procured the buyer, UA Properties.

This year, RADCO Companies’ CEO Norman Radow says, the firm will be up against more competitors carving out a niche in the B+/B- apartment sector. The Atlanta, Georgia-based apartment specialist completed nearly $400 million in transactions in this segment of the market during 2016 and is hoping for a similar 2017.

Jonathan Rose Cos. and L+M Development Partners are building a fully-affordable housing complex in East Harlem, NY, which will feature 655 units and a new charter school, YMCA, community health center, urban market and Union Settlement community services space. It is also slated to become the largest Passive House in the nation.

New renderings have been released for the planned luxury condominium at 45 Park Place in New York City. The 43-story tower in TriBeCa is developed by Soho Properties and sales are being led by Stribling & Associates. The new photos depict the lobby and swimming pool, as well as one of the building’s 50 units, with floor-to-ceiling windows.
