An Avison Young team led by Gabe Sasso, Principal and Vice President of Construction Management, Andy Smith, Senior Project Manager, and Tony Bienert, Director, managed the comprehensive project, which included demolition of the existing buildings on the site. Chicago investor's debut: One thousand apartments

Waterton, in its first deal in Nashville, acquired the Nashboro Village apartment community for $140 million from an affiliate of Starwood Capital Group. The complex is comprised of 69 two- or three-story apartment buildings, containing a combined 994 apartments built in the 1970s and 1980s. Waterton will renovate Nashboro’s amenities such as its clubhouses and tennis courts, then renovate apartments as leases expire. The complex has seven outdoor pools and a dog park.
