Eric R. Gerard brings over 25 years of journalistic and business experience to the Great Ink team. He joined Great Ink in March of 2000 after seven years as editor-in-chief and associate publisher of Real Estate Weekly, the only weekly publication in the U.S. devoted exclusively to commercial real estate. Prior to that, Eric served for seven years as editor-in-chief of the Bronx Press-Review, the borough’s only county-wide newspaper, and founded Parkchester Publishing, Inc., a full-service public relations and graphics design company.

Eric is a member of many professional, civic and charitable organizations, including the National Realty Club, the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation, Autism Speaks and the Foundation for Education Children with Autism. A winner of five New York State Press Association awards for both news-writing and photographic excellence, he earned his BA in Communications from Fordham University in 1984.
