EW Howell Construction Group is profiled as the cover story of Newsday’s Sunday business section. The 125-year-old firm, the oldest on Long Island and one of the oldest in New York, has seen waves of development from the late 1800’s through World War II, starting out as a builder for gilded Gold Coast mansions and transitioning to projects in the education, healthcare, arts & culture and retail sectors.
