Populous, Legends tapped to design and oversee new Buffalo Bills stadium construction

Sports-architecture firm Populous has been tapped by Pegula Sports & Entertainment to design the new Buffalo Bills stadium, set to open in 2026. The new stadium will be built next to the team’s practice facility and current home, Highmark Stadium, in suburban Orchard Park, N.Y. The new open-air stadium is expected to hold 65,000-67,000 fans.

Kimmerle Newman Architects and Kimmerle Workspace oversaw furniture selection and procurement and carried out branding and graphics, guiding PLT through decisions on how to make the space feel new and fresh while integrating existing items, many of which were still in good condition and could add to the texture and warmth of the office.
