Kimmerle Group has completed a new office buildout for All American Healthcare, a connector of high-quality and professional healthcare staff. AAH expanded within its existing building from a 3,000-square-foot space to a 17,000-square-foot, full-floor office at 494 Broad Street in Newark to accommodate its rapid growth. Kimmerle Newman Architects and Kimmerle Workspace provided interior design, branding and graphics and furniture specification/procurement services for All American Healthcare.

Grosvenor acquired the coincidentally named Grosvenor Tower, a 237-unit apartment building in Bethesda, Md., for $95 million from AvalonBay Communities. The 21-story Grosvenor Tower fits in with Grosvenor’s investment strategy of acquiring and improving existing high-quality multifamily properties in coastal gateway markets. Grosvenor has a net zero objective with the building, planning to significantly lower the carbon profile of the property while investing in upgrades to modernize common areas and improve apartment interiors.

Chick-fil-A signed a 6,000-SF, 20-year ground lease at 1573 Flatbush Avenue in the Midwood area of Brooklyn. The fast-food chain will put up a new building to replace a small office property owned by Marx Realty. It will be the chain’s first ground-up, stand-alone outpost in the city.
