Avis relocates HQ to Parsippany’s Latitude

Avis Budget Group is moving its headquarters to Latitude, a 700,000-SF office property owned by a JV of Rubenstein Partners LP and Vision Real Estate Partners. The e car rental agency holding company signed a lease for a new, 155,234-square-foot space at the property. Latitude consists of two, symmetrical five-story wings with offices, meeting spaces, and lifestyle services and experiences. The annexes are connected with a new central glass atrium that offers common areas, dining options, fitness centers and U.S. city-themed spaces for collaborating. Avis Budget Group was represented by Jonathan Meisel and Joseph Sarno of CBRE the transaction. Rubenstein and Vision were represented by Vice Chairman David Simson, Senior Managing Director Jamie Drummond and Associate Director Andrew Perrotti of Newmark.

Palm Springs welcomes new Acrisure Arena

The music, events and sports venue also houses the Coachella Valley Firebirds hockey team. Acrisure Arena has a concert capacity of 11,000. Bronx affordable housing portfolio trades for $107.5M

Ariel Property Advisors represented seller Spencer Equity in the sale of a portfolio of four Section 8 housing projects and a development site in the Morrisania, High Bridge and Belmont neighborhoods of the Bronx for $107.5 million. The buyer was a joint venture between Systima Capital Management, Gilbane Development, ELH Management and TerreAlto. The properties—at 280 E. 161st St., 1105 Jerome Ave., 101–103 W. 165th St. and 2363 Southern Blvd.—have 477 units and take up 551,320 square feet.
