Simone Development Companies has acquired a vacant property at 1720 Eastchester Road from Madison International Realty in the Bronx, with plans to convert the asset into a 180,000-SF+ logistics center. The seller was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Jonathan Squires and Josh King, while Simone Development Cos. was represented in-house by Megan Guy, Brian Reardon, Josh Gopan, Dina Gupta and Sean Heneghan. On the site sat a former Stop & Shop supermarket and other retail.

A team from Ariel Property Advisors brokered the sale of the 160,000-SF, 12-story building at 950 Westchester Avenue on behalf of the seller, Westchester Intervale Limited Partnership. The mixed-use condo complex in the Bronx sold for $19.1 million. The property features 111 residential units, seven offices and two retail storefronts.

ReadySpaces, a provider of flexible warehouse space for small and mid-sized businesses, has signed a lease for the entire 110,300-SF building at 250 E. Sandford Boulevard, owned by Simone Development Companies in Mount Vernon, New York. ReadySpaces currently operates 32 warehouse facilities nationwide and serves over 2,000 businesses; the Mount Vernon facility will be the firm’s second in New York and fifth in the Tri-State area. Josh Gopan and Patrick Doyle represented Simone Development in-house in the lease transaction.
