A 3,698-SF portion of the second floor of 80 Eighth Avenue includes Smith’s offices with original woodwork and detail. Developed in the Roaring Twenties, it was designed for an occupied by Smith who left his Albany post in 1929 after he lost his bid for presidency. Newmark Holdings will be renovating the offices to pay homage to its history and architecture, while making it more modern for today’s needs.
