In this week’s Commercial Observer, “The Plan” — The landlords of 3 Bryant Park, Ivanhoé Cambridge and Callahan Capital Properties are highlighting the building’s 5,369 SF, ground-floor retail space with a grafittied 1961 NYC subway car. Bravo Media helped light up the train in early 2017 with Christmas-themed colors and graphics from projectors through January. The space has a 20-foot-high ceiling and just a few columns. It is part of the 1.3-million-square-foot building’s retail offering, designed by Moed de Armas Shannon in 2013.

In one of Stamford, Conn.’s largest-ever real estate deals, five apartment buildings in Building and Land Technology’s Harbor Point development have been sold to a Manhattan real estate firm for $395 million. GAIA Real Estate and four institutional partners acquired the properties from BLT. The portfolio includes The Key at Yale & Towne, Vault Apartments, Lofts at Yale & Towne, and the Postmark Apartments.

10 Ft. Single by Stella Dallas has renewed its space at 285 North 6th Street in Williamsburg. The landlord, Newmark Holdings, was represented in-house by Brian Steinwurtzel with Eric Gural. 10 Ft. Single by Stella Dallas is a retailer of vintage clothing, and occupies 9,500 SF of space. It has been in the same space for more than two decades.

The Korea Society has signed a 9,732 SF lease for its headquarters at RFR Realty’s 350 Madison Avenue in New York City. The Korea Society is focused on promoting relations between America and South Korea. The nonprofit will occupy the entire 24th floor (7,178 SF) and 2,554 SF on the 25th floor.

Savanna has closed a refinancing loan for 434 Broadway, a nine-story, 65,700 SF mixed-use property in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, for more than $66 million. This new loan with Deutsche Bank’s Special Situations Group replaces a prior acquisition loan from Mesa West Real Estate.
