The four-story, single-family home was built in 1889 by William Godfrey. Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson has renewed its 11,703 SF lease for its Midtown NYC conference center at RFR Realty’s 375 Park Avenue. The space is on the 36th and 37th floors, and contains four rooms per floor. Jonathan Mechanic and Meyer Last represented Fried Frank in the negotiations with the landlord, which was represented in-house by AJ Camhi and a JLL leasing team led by Matt Astrachan.
RADCO Companies

RADCO Companies has purchased its fourth Florida apartment complex in Winter Park for $32.1 million. The 288-unit Class B property was renamed Lakeside at Winter Park, and will receive $3.7 million of capital improvements to the clubhouse, offices and apartments. RADCO also owns three apartment complexes in the Tampa-Clearwater area.

RADCO Companies has made its first multifamily acquisition in the Orlando, Florida area, and CEO Norman Radow said the firm will continue to look for value-add investments in the area, as the area is showing one of the strongest real estate markets in the nation.

Kamber Management’s planned renovation of Tower 45 at 120 W.45th is Commercial Observer’s “The Plan” this week. The company plans to spend $20 million on a renovation project for the nearly 458,000 SF office property in Midtown. Kohn Pederson Fox has been comissioned to design the entrance, facade, lobby and elevator cabs. A team from Avison Young led by Arthur Mirante, A. Mitti Liebersohn, Michael Gottlieb and Gregory Kraut has been tapped to lease 80,000 SF of available space.

Welltower and Hines is planning a 15-story, 125,000 SF senior housing and memory care community at 139 E. 56th Street, with retail at the base. The development will fill the gap between the strong demand and limited supply of facilities that offer assisted-living services and care for memory-impaired, particularly in Manhattan.

Pembrook Capital Management LLC through its third commercial real estate debt fund, provided a $16.6 million loan to finance a transaction that preserves 152 units of affordable housing in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. Pembrook funded the acquisition by The NHP Foundation of the Mark Twain Hotel, a Single-Room Occupancy property.

A Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates team has brokered the $12.1 million sale of a 32,000 SF warehouse for NYU Lutheran. The property is just blocks from the hospital’s current location and was purchased for future expansion. KDA’s Bob Klein and Jeff Unger represented the buyer and seller.
