A former Bronx supermarket at 1720 Eastchester Road has undergone yet another transformation—this time into a vibrant ballroom setting for the 53rd Annual Bronx Ball. The venue, recently redeveloped by Simone Development Companies into a 190,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in the borough’s Morris Park section, served as the site of this year’s culminating event for Bronx Week. Hosted by Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson along with The Bronx Tourism Council, the Bronx Ball is one of the signature highlights of Bronx Week. The gala also celebrated the newest inductees into the Bronx Walk of Fame.
