Madison Realty Capital provided a $90 million construction loan to Bruman Realty for a new, two-building complex in Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood. The rental complex will hold 232 apartments. This loan allows Bruman to retire all existing debt.

Treeline, with KABR Group, acquired 3 Huntington Quadrangle, a 408,000 SF property in Melville, NY, for nearly $36M. “The building’s location near a main thoroughfare and its strong tenant base made it an attractive investment,” said Michael Schor, Treeline’s chief investment officer. The building has two four-story office wings connected by a lobby. It is 95% occupied with tenants such as Northwell Health and Travelers Insurance Co.

In this week’s Commercial Observer, “The Plan” — The landlords of 3 Bryant Park, Ivanhoé Cambridge and Callahan Capital Properties are highlighting the building’s 5,369 SF, ground-floor retail space with a grafittied 1961 NYC subway car. Bravo Media helped light up the train in early 2017 with Christmas-themed colors and graphics from projectors through January. The space has a 20-foot-high ceiling and just a few columns. It is part of the 1.3-million-square-foot building’s retail offering, designed by Moed de Armas Shannon in 2013.

In one of Stamford, Conn.’s largest-ever real estate deals, five apartment buildings in Building and Land Technology’s Harbor Point development have been sold to a Manhattan real estate firm for $395 million. GAIA Real Estate and four institutional partners acquired the properties from BLT. The portfolio includes The Key at Yale & Towne, Vault Apartments, Lofts at Yale & Towne, and the Postmark Apartments.
