Simone Development Companies plans to convert a 118,000-SF industrial building at 104 Corporate Park Drive in Harrison, NY into a four-level pediatric ambulatory center for Montefiore. Simone is awaiting approval to convert and purchase. Montefiore would join a long line of healthcare providers that line Westchester Avenue and the I-287 Corridor.

On October 24, 2018, R New York had a “full house” at its first annual charity poker tournament, hosting 75 players in an evening to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Held at the 3 West Club in New York City, the tournament’s first place winner Thissa de Silva received a seat in the 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas. The Wounded Warrior Project is a charity and veterans service organization which offers a variety of programs, services and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following September 11, 2001. R New York, one of New York City’s fastest growing brokerages founded by Army veteran Richard Friedman and led by President Stefani Berkin, has been a long-time supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project.

Jonathan Rose Companies purchased a 558-unit Section 8 housing complex in Bay Ridge for $150 million from NYU Langone in partnership with NHP Foundation and TIAA investment manager Nuveen. The site at 9000 Shore Road consists of two interconnected 14-story buildings totaling about 414,000 SF. The buildings include 325 studio apartments and 233 one-bedrooms. Jonathan Rose Companies is planning to make the buildings more environmentally friendly and improve resident services.
