Waterton, a Chicago-based real estate firm has acquired Manor Six Forks in Raleigh, North Carolina, the company’s fifth purchase in the state in the last two years. The apartment/retail property is five stories with 298 multifamily units and 12,000-SF of retail space at 900 E. Six Forks Road. Retailers in the building include a craft beer and wine outlet, nail salon, fitness and martial arts studio and full-service pet care center. The seller was Sherman Residential of Illinois.

Parkledge, Yonkers affordable-housing community, sells for $48.3 million

Parkledge, a 311-unit affordable housing community in Yonkers, has been sold for $48.3 million to Hudson Valley Property Group. Tim Flint, executive vice president of CBRE Affordable Housing, along with CBRE Vice Chairman Jeff Dunne, Senior Vice President Gene Pride and Senior Financial Analyst Eric Apfel, represented the seller in the transaction. Parkledge has a mix of one-, two-, three, and four-bedroom apartments. The new owners will preserve the property as a quality affordable housing complex and prioritize renovations that will increase quality of life for its residents.

PHOTO TOUR: The Phillips Family Cancer Center

Healthcare Design features The Phillips Family Cancer Center in an online Photo Tour. Developed in partnership with The Southampton Hospital Foundation, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, and Stony Brook Medicine, the center opened in May, bringing the first comprehensive cancer center to the east end of Long Island in Southampton, N.Y. A fully integrated site of the Stony Brook University Cancer Center, the center provides radiation therapy and medical oncology services. Local architect Blaze Makoid took inspiration from the property’s legacy as a former potato barn, and the long and rectangular building offers much natural light. EW Howell was the project’s general contractor.

Regus renews leases in Melville and Uniondale
