Rubenstein Partners completed its refresh of 2600 Tower Oaks Blvd. in Rockville, adding modern amenities and upgraded common areas that belie the suburban Maryland office building’s age. Via a partnership with coworking space provider Cove, Rubenstein’s D.C. regional director Steve Evans notes, will allow tenants to tap into phone and IT services and have access to a fuller suite of amenities through the convenience of a building-specific smart phone app.

Mount Sinai Health System has signed a long-term lease for 7,600 square feet at Simone Development Companies’ Boyce Thompson Center in Yonkers. The Icahn School of Medicine lease is for medical office space at the Boyce Thompson Center at 1086 North Broadway. Simone Development Cos. has been restoring the property, which was built in the early 1900s.

Simone Development Companies is renovating an industrial property in Carle Place to reposition it as a last-mile distribution center. Simone, a Bronx, NY-based developer, purchased the 60,000-SF warehouse on 4.05 acres at 40 Voice Road this summer for $6.75 million from Ansaco Properties LLC. Built in 1962, the property had been the long-time home of Johnson & Hoffman, a metal stamping operation serving the electronics, automotive and other commercial and industrial manufacturers.
